Dear Alumni Brothers,
I am reaching out today with updates to the undergraduate chapter’s website, which can be found at asigcornell.org.
Earlier this semester, we added a donation link to the website that would allow members of the fraternity to directly make a non-tax-deductible donation to the brotherhood. This link will allow the brotherhood to fund special initiatives, particularly our philanthropic activities.
Last spring, our Director of Social Planning and Philanthropy, Ben Carrick, organized a charity concert, “Rock the Ledge,” as a fun way to support philanthropic organizations while also serving to the community.
In our first iteration of the concert, we raised $1,000 for RAINN, an Alpha Sig-affiliated charity that helps survivors of sexual violence. We received very positive feedback from that event, and now we want to host “Rock the Ledge” as a regular event. We plan to expand and improve the concert logistics to make it a better experience for the bands and attendees in the future.
Donations from our alumni and broader Iota Chapter community will help us fulfill those goals.
We would greatly appreciate a donation if you are able. Thank you for your generosity and consideration in improving Rockledge!
We are also looking for new ways to keep the website up-to-date and communicate the brotherhood’s happenings to our alumni; we appreciate any feedback you have.
